A Distribution Centre Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of a distribution centre or warehouse. This position involves a blend of supervisory, operational, and administrative responsibilities aimed at optimising the flow of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall logistics process.
You will interact with a wide aspect of colleagues, up to director level, with regular contact with store and security colleagues, as well as the buying, IT and human resources departments.
You will be required to maintain great working relationships with delivery drivers and suppliers
In the manager’s absence, you will assume the responsibility of the distribution centre.
