Pulham Garden Centre puts paid to potholes
It’s smooth going from now on for customers driving into the Cherry Lane Garden Centre at Pulham Market, near Diss. Owners QD Stores have sorted out a long-standing pothole problem to the shared access entrance way into the Centre car park with a smart new resurface by Ipswich-based Taydal Surfacing. Visitors are loving it, with regular Clarence ‘Clarry’ Scott from Long Stratton first over the line to stop and thank Centre manager Will Caddick in person. “Customers are just delighted with the result,” says Will. “The entrance road had become very rutted and uncomfortable to drive and walk across.” With the summer season coming to an end, Cherry Lane Garden Centre is looking forward to a new drive for autumn garden bargains in the build up to Christmas. “We are certainly getting very busy again,” adds Will. “Many of our visitors drive from as far as an hour away to shop with us and now there are no more bumps and bonks to greet them. “The whole place just looks so much better.”
