QD Stores in Holbeach Announces its 1st Anniversary Competition Prize Winner The lucky winner of QD Stores' 1st anniversary competition in Holbeach recently visited the store to collect her prize of shopping vouchers from Store Manager, Dawn Barnes. Ms Megan Aitken, pictured below with Dawn, won the store's "sugar sales" competition by estimating that 13,000 bags of sugar had been sold by QD's Holbeach store in the twelve months since opening. The actual figure was just 187 bags more. Store Manager, Dawn Barnes, was delighted to present Ms Aitken with her prize and commented: "It's thanks to the support of people like Ms Aitken that Holbeach QD is celebrating a very successful first year. We are looking forward to our second year in the town and will be continuing to give a warm welcome to regular and new customers alike." Ms Aitken, who is currently studying for a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Stanford College, was delighted to hear the news that she had won the competition. She said: "I will definitely enjoy spending my voucher. It will be very useful. I will be looking at plastic drawers to store my art things and I also love QD's candles, pots and ornaments." QD Stores recently launched a new website giving more customers on-line access to 250 of its best-selling products. It has just been rated Best New Website by Web User Magazine.
