As well as standard lines, over 30% of what we sell is one-off, clearance or closeout products. We have particular expertise in handling these types of products and offer distinct advantages to manufacturers who are looking to clear products quickly and painlessly:

We provide controlled disposal, exclusively through our own stores, with no products offered on the open market to other retail outlets.

You can expect virtually immediate disposal of your products, since our retail outlets sell products very quickly, with minimal impact in the market place.

We will give you an immediate purchasing decision on the products you want to sell.

We can deal with varied amounts of surplus stock from small quantities to larger bulk stock deals

It couldn't be easier for you to deliver your products since we have a single drop-off point at our Snetterton Distribution Centre just of the main A11, and only 20 miles from Norwich

QD restructures for further retail market growth

Recent expansion and diversification are underpinning a strategic restructure of its business operations by Norwich-based value retail group, QD Commercial Group Holdings Ltd.

From October (2013), overarching control of the group's retail brand assets - including Cherry Lane Garden Centres, Thingmebobs, QD Stores and Lathams' transfer to a new operating company, QD Commercial Group Holdings Limited.

Commensurately, management and operation of the assets themselves transfer to newly-formed companies dedicated to the task of optimising brand identity and thereby maximising their future trading potential.

Commented Group Managing Director Justin Farrington Smith: "QD Group has expanded its business enormously in recent years and in taking the business forward to its next phase of growth, feel we need to further optimise the potential of different trading entities by developing clearly defined strategies for each within companies dedicated to their needs.
